New Custom Duty Calculation (Relevant from 01.04.2012).

Kindly note SILVER reference Price notified by custom department has been fixed to Rs. 1032 per kilogram. (Reference Rate will change if the price Variation is more then 5 %.)

Eg. As on (04.04.2012)

SILVER: $ 1,032 per kilo + 1% (Handling Charges) * 51.50 (USD-INR) (price notified by custom, which is valued for full month) = 53,680 * 6.18% (Custom Duty + Edu. Cess) = 3,317 will be the duty per KG
